FAQ

Q: Do you do worldwide delivery?
Yes, we ship internationally to most countries!

Q: Where do I send my questions, enquiries, complaints & compliments to?
Click the Contact text here or use the link in the left-hand side nav menu. You can also send emails directly to [email protected]. We'd love to get photos of you sporting your new apparel, so if you're a happy customer and don't mind being publicised in your new gear, send us in your shots! (Oh God, what am I going to see now, LOL!).

Q: Do I need a PayPal account to purchase from this store?
No, you are not required to have a PayPal account to purchase from this store although, if you already have a PayPal account, you can use it.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or regular account payments all through PayPal. Jedi mind tricks will not work on us.

Q: How secure is this store?
This store uses PayPal for payments, and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

The site template and other backend stuff is from Big Cartel, experts in this sort of thing.

Q: What type of postage/shipping service do you use & how long will it take to receive my "goodies"?
Yoda {closes his eyes for a moment}, "Difficult to see. Always in motion is the future."

We send international orders by New Zealand Post, International Air which states 3 to 10 days depending on region (yeah yeah, NZ has upgraded from courier pigeons or a tamed dolphin postal service!). For all our local customers we hand your purchase over to my brother-in-law, who knows your friend's uncle, who'll pass it onto Angie from the corner dairy, whose boyfriend works just down the road from where you live, so it'll get to you no probs ie via a fast, but normal, NZ postal service ;-)

Q: How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated when you go through to the checkout and varies in cost depending on where you live and what number or types of items you order. Please contact us if you have any special requirements or questions about shipping via Contact or at [email protected] and we will try to accommodate your request.

Remember, everything on this site is in New Zealand Dollars - but it may work out surprisingly well for you with exchange rates at the time!

Q: My item hasn’t arrived, what can you do?
Damn, that sucks and we’re sorry :( I blame the sock Goblins… However, seriously keep in touch with us to sort it out, but for now you're going to have to wait until a total of 5 weeks (30 working days) from your order time has passed before you report in again to say it still hasn’t arrived. If that’s still the case we’ll look to get a replacement product through to you.

Q: Can I exchange my item or get a refund?
This is a pretty important and BIG point overall. Firstly, if you have any problems with your order please contact us ASAP via Contact or at [email protected] and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

If there is a defect with your item when you receive it, we will replace or refund you once it is returned to us. It will need to be shipped back to us initially at your expense (within 30 days) and once we see the damage/defect we will refund your shipping cost and then refund your purchase or resend a new item at our expense (hopefully another is in stock, but we'll always be as accommodating and communicative as is reasonably possible!). Remember we are currently a small operation so please be patient and nice :-)

We stress again, please take the time to check and measure other clothes you own to calculate a size to match as closely as possible to our apparel. If you get the sizing wrong or it doesn’t fit the way you expected then it will be up to you to return the item at your expense and, on receiving it back, we will refund or exchange the product for you if the correct size is available (shipped back at your expense).

If we muck-up any order then, of course, we’ll work to correct the problem ASAP - to get it all sorted and try and keep you very happy that you shopped here. Basically, contact us and we’ll talk it over, no probs.

Note, returns must be made within 30 days of purchase and come back in original and optimal condition ie not worn (apart from trying on of course), washed or smelling of BO. Sending us back a marmot rather than the shirt is also not preferable and considered... odd.

Q: What happens if my size isn’t available or has sold out?
Get in touch with us via Contact or at [email protected] and put in a request for a reprint of a particular size (or even colour). Because we are a small operation our runs of tees are currently limited to batches of around 10-30 at a time per men's or women's shirts. If a design is really popular, we will reprint and restock ASAP, then contact you so you won’t go cold for long ;-)

Q: I live in the Wellington region, can I come and pick up my purchase/s?
Sure, contact us via email so we can arrange a time for you to grab your stuff. Better yet, if you get in touch before you make the online purchase we can arrange it via email and then no postage refund will need to be sorted and you can bring cold hard cash directly to the exchange. I will be the man wearing a red rose in my left lapel and carrying a copy of The Times under my right arm...

Q: How should I take care of my new shirt?
Feed and water regularly and take for long walks, often... Or, you can read the handy instruction tags in the collar of your new, shiny purchase... Or, just ask your Mum ;-)

Q: By the way, what does GSM mean?
GSM stands for Grams per Square Metre, which is basically the weight of the fabric used for the garment. The tees we use most often are a very nice, mid-weight of 180 GSM and 350 GSM for the hoodies. They are both the pleasant, middle ground between a way too thin and lightweight top and overly thick and heavy cloth. Well, we like them and it’s what I wear most days! ;-)

Q: Do you think Pluto should still be a planet?
Yeah, I kinda feel sorry for "him", good question...
